Root and Remedy LLC is committed to your satisfaction. Please review our return policy carefully, as it varies depending on the type of product or service purchased.

Digital Products & App Subscriptions

App Access and Subscriptions:

All app subscriptions and digital assessments are non-refundable once purchased

Free trial periods (when offered) allow you to explore features before committing to a paid subscription

You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges, but no refunds will be issued for the current billing period

Why Digital Products Are Non-Refundable: Digital content, including wellness assessments and personalized TCM pattern analyses, is delivered immediately upon purchase and cannot be "returned" once accessed.

Physical Herbal Products

Unopened Products:

May be returned within 30 days of delivery only

Products must be unopened, unmarked, and in resalable condition

Batch numbers on returned products must match the batch numbers from your original order

You must obtain a return authorization before sending items back (see instructions below)

Customer is responsible for return shipping costs

Products That Cannot Be Returned:

Opened bottles or marked products

Products received more than 30 days ago

Unauthorized returns (returns sent without obtaining a return authorization number)

Damaged products (unless damaged during shipping)

Products with mismatched batch numbers

Custom or special order items

Missing or Damaged Items:

Missing items must be reported within 5 business days of receiving your order to qualify for replacement or refund

Damaged items received due to shipping issues will be replaced at no cost to you

Please contact us immediately with photos of any shipping damage

How to Initiate a Return

To request a return for eligible physical herbal products:

Contact Us for Authorization: Email cliff@rootandremedyhealth.com within 30 days of receiving your order

Include the Following Information:

Order number

Product name(s) you wish to return

Reason for return

Photos (if applicable for damaged items)

Wait for Return Authorization: We will review your request and provide a return authorization number and instructions within 2 business days

Ship the Item:

Only ship items after receiving return authorization

Include your return authorization number with the package

Ensure batch numbers on bottles match your original order

Customer is responsible for return shipping costs (unless product arrived damaged)

Receive Your Refund: Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days of our receipt and inspection of the returned item

Important: Unauthorized returns (returns sent without a return authorization number) cannot be accepted for safety and quality control reasons.

Refund Method

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for purchase. Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your financial institution.

Refund amounts will reflect:

Product cost

Original shipping costs are non-refundable

Customer is responsible for return shipping costs (unless product arrived damaged)

Shipping Information

Shipping Speed: Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1-3 business days. You will receive a tracking number via email once your order ships.

Shipping Method: Most orders are shipped via USPS. UPS is used for addresses not serviced by USPS.

Shipping Costs: Shipping rates are calculated based on package weight, size, and destination.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

Opened or marked herbal products

Products without return authorization

Products with mismatched batch numbers

Damaged products (unless damaged during shipping)

Custom or special order herbal formulas

Digital assessments or app subscriptions

Gift cards

Clearance or final sale items (when marked as such)

Products returned more than 30 days after delivery
